Privacy
Your data, plainly
This site was built to collect as little as possible. Here, in plain words, is what happens when you visit it.
In short
- No cookies.
- No analytics, no advertising trackers.
- Fonts and images are served from this site.
- Google Maps only loads if you click.
- Contact form messages are only used to reply to you.
Who is responsible?
Aïkido Club La Côte, Salle Montoly, Chemin de Montoly 3, 1196 Gland. For any question: secretariataclc.ch .
Visiting the site
The site is hosted in Switzerland by Infomaniak. Like any host, Infomaniak logs technical data (IP address, browser, requested page, date and time) to serve the pages and keep the service secure. The club does not use this data to measure traffic or to identify visitors.
Cookies and local storage
No cookies are set. Only your choice of theme (light or dark), if you have changed it, is remembered in your browser (local storage); it is never sent anywhere.
Fonts, images and videos
Fonts and images are served from this site: no requests are made to third-party services such as Google Fonts. The club’s videos are hosted on www.aclc.ch and only load when you press play.
Map
The Google Maps map only loads if you click “Show the map”. Google then receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under its own privacy policy. A link to OpenStreetMap is offered as an alternative.
External links
YouTube videos, the photo gallery and the websites of the federation or other clubs open on their own pages, which apply their own rules. No YouTube video is embedded on this site.
Contact form
When you use the contact form, your name, e-mail address, subject and message are e-mailed to the club’s secretary from our Swiss host; they are not stored on the website. They are used only to reply to you: they are never sold, shared or used for advertising, and are kept in the club’s mailbox only as long as needed to deal with your request. To limit abuse, the server counts messages per hour using an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address, which is then deleted.
Calendar
The .ics calendar you can subscribe to is public and only contains club events. Your calendar app downloads it regularly, just like any other page of the site.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP), in force since 1 September 2023, you can ask what data the club holds about you, and have it corrected or deleted. Simply write to the secretary: secretariataclc.ch .
